The Renewable Energy Development Company (CODER) is a company under Gabonese law.
It specializes in the creation , construction , and operation of all renewable energy production facilities and in particular hydroelectric .
Who are we?
CODER GABON is a public limited company under Gabonese law created in 2008, registered in Libreville, Gabon.
Its shareholding is 100% held by private investors with long experience in the development of Renewable Energy projects and especially medium-power hydroelectric facilities.
On August 18, 2022, we signed two Public Private Partnership (PPP) Agreements with the Gabonese State, to achieve:
The Hydroelectric Development of the Empress Falls, on the Ngounié River in the Ngounié Province
The Hydroelectric Development of the Fe2 Falls, on the Okano River in the Province of Woleu Ntem.
IMPACTS & BENEFITS
These two major projects involve the construction of a national interconnected transport network and the development of rural electrification with renewable energies. They are part of Gabon’s sustainable development and energy independence policy, which aims to produce 80% of its electricity in a carbon-free way by 2040.
